St. Joseph Community Health is working to give our children a healthy start in life.  We believe that if you change the first five years you change everything.   Our free programs provide services to first time moms and dads, beginning during mom's pregnancy and can continue throughout the first 3 years of the baby's life.  We provide pre-natal support and education, a program that tracks the development of the baby during the crucial first years, and connection to community resources. 

Research has shown that 90% of our human brain architecture develops between the ages of 0 and 5 years – and early experiences determine whether a child’s developing brain architecture provides a strong or weak foundation for all future learning, behavior and health.  St. Joseph recognizes that the foundation of a child's development is their relationship with their parents.  Supportive relationships and positive learning experiences begin at home.
